井上准教授は、Water Research誌に発表した「Detection of retinoic acid receptor antagonist contamination in the aquatic environment of the Kinki region of Japan」が水環境の保全と創造に寄与する優れた論文と評価され、平成28年度日本水環境学会論文奨励賞（廣瀬賞）を受賞し、2017年6月16日にタワーホール船堀で開催された授賞式において表彰されました。
