How can we design resilient urban and transport systems that not only harmonize with the environment but also enhance people’s well-being? Dr. Chou’s research takes an interdisciplinary approach, integrating insights from sociology, psychology, and environmental studies to examine how individual decision-making and urban form interact to shape sustainable mobility patterns. By combining behavioral data science with empirical research, her work provides evidence-based guidance for advancing human-centered urban policy.
